Protecting You and Your Family

Over the years whilst advising our clients about their family protection needs, our experience has led us to understand that in many cases people insure the following items because they are compelled to do so, either contractually or legally.

Buildings Insurance (because the lender says you must have it)
Contents Insurance (because your worried that you might be burgled)
Travel Insurance (because your travel company says you must have it)
Personal Loan Insurance (because the lender likes to sell it whether you need it or not)
Pet Insurance (because you are worried about how much the vets bills could cost)
Car Insurance (because it is a legal requirement to use your car and your worried about the cost to repair or replace it)
Mortgage Life Assurance (because its perceived as normal practice when you take out a mortgage)
Critical Illness Cover (sometimes considered depending on the cost, but often rejected through lack of perceived need)

Unfortunately a significant number of people choose to insure some of the above and do not consider the importance of reviewing these areas and overlook having adequate cover.
